About Us
Emmons’ Taekwondo Academy has been serving the community of Osceola County since 1990 and offers the highest level of taekwondo training. The owners Master John Emmons and Mrs. Gloria Emmons is the Chief Instructor of the school in Kissimmee/St.Cloud.
Emmons’ Taekwondo Academy is a home for students of all ages and backgrounds to train in Kissimmee/St. Cloud. We come in each day with the goal of helping students wherever they need it in life. Students are taught to follow the Five Tenets of Taekwondo and treat everyone they encounter – inside and outside the academy – with respect and care. Our taekwondo classes are designed to maximize each student’s experience, with age appropriate curriculums and smaller class sizes for individualized training. We ensure every student leaves class looking forward to their next training session, knowing they are becoming better martial artists – and more importantly – better people!
At Emmons’ Taekwondo Academy, we offer unlimited weekly classes of taekwondo training that are available to people of all ages. Taekwondo is a great way to develop skills both physically and mentally. Our taekwondo curriculum consists of activities in strength training, cardio, aerobics, flexibility, and meditation that will greatly benefit your mind and body.

Meet our
Taekwondo Instructors
WE GIVE YOU OUR BEST
All instructors at Emmons’ Taekwondo Academy (ETA) are certified. All of our instructors have basic first aid CPR training, and have completed a minimum 2-year training course. Our instructors must attend 50 hours of continuing education credits every five years to maintain their certification. Special training is given to all instructors on how to work with individuals with special needs, such as ADHD, ADD, autism, and other learning disabilities. We take the training of your child very seriously and provide the best physical training in a safe environment.
